PO69, I'm sorry, but your second post didn't count according to the rules.

Here is the rule:

-Only one post with your selections per day. Maximum 3 plays per day. If you make an error posting your selections, please contact the contest moderator.

Well this sucks! Of course those 2 plays won. I signed up late and didnt pay much attention to the rules I guess.

But it isnt like I waited for later in the day. For some reason it didnt accept all 3 of my plays earlier in the day.


I do want to make sure that NO ONE gets a second chance later though! Not even for 1 minute late. Because I am losing +2.00 units here and 2 plays!

It might make a difference in what I would choose late in the month if I am close to the lead for the monthlong contest prize.

I understand it sucks, but what you could have done once you accidentally pressed Enter to only submit the 1 pick at 12:30pm Eastern time was to look at the rules to see what you could do next.

The rules said you could contact the contest moderator that you needed the 2nd and 3rd plays to be added to your day's picks due to a mistake of the keyboard. Rather than just posting for 2nd time assuming "everything would be okay" until somebody else mentions it the next morning.... and like Journeyman said in the other thread, if your 2nd & 3rd plays had lost (or even went 1-1), you would have not complained if someone said "we can't count the 2nd post by playersonly69".

If someone in the FUTURE makes a similar mistake, they *still can have a second chance IF* they follow the rules (and presumably within 5 minutes because I assume the EDIT functionality is disabled?). I have no idea if we can edit our picks in those contests (as I know that's unethical but we do have 5 minutes to edit normal posts).

I am sorry to see this happen but the rules are in place for certain obvious reasons.... even though I believe this was just a tough luck situation for PO69 what choice do we have in ruling with what the rules state?

I realize had you lost both plays no one would have pulled out the rulebook more than likely and you have accepted the loss....but you left yourself open for this by making the mistake, hopefully this won't happen again and it won't cost you....

There's not much we can do other than make as many rules as posible for any possible scenario that could come up and cause a problem.

All plays must be in one thread. Once you hit that submit button technically that should be it however within the first 5 mins you may be able to edit your first thread to add the other two plays. But you can't post one play at 7:30 and come back at 9:50 to post 2 late plays as an example.

I dont believe there has ever been a contest where you have not complained about a rule, tried to have one changed, or just in general whined like a little girl. If you need, I can pull up some examples. On second thought, it's really not worth my time. Most here know about you and your ways.

It is absolutely staggering how many people are in the black right now. I hate to be negative, but the majority of us are in for a harsh free fall. This just can't continue.
